Deeply frustrated

Flu is getting worse.  I almost never get sick.  So despite being highly motivated, it looks like I will do nothing on account of safety.  I don’t think that a 5 hour, 100km bike ride is a good idea with flu.  Speculation is that my muddy, misty ride on Wednesday is the route cause.  I am trying not to agree on account of it being such a blast.

Bug! Bugger it.

Totally frustrated. Picked up a bit of flu. Missed this mornings ride. Big weekend miles planned – now under threat. Bombing myself with homeopathics in the hope of a quick fix. Tic toc. We really need the long weekend rides in the mix.

Rain stopped play

Seemed to rain all night. Cancelled planned 5.30am Spruit ride. Training anxiety on account of being away in Saudi Arabia for the rest of the week. A lost week.
